The Development Platform for the Performing Arts & Toaster
For the second time, The Development Platform for the Performing Arts and Toaster will host a symposium for industry professionals with a focus on working internationally.
In this collaboration, The Development Platform for the Performing Arts and Toaster will focus on the many gifts and challenges that lies in working internationally. Because what are the pressing questions and new directions in the international scene? How do we promote diversity and fair collaborations? Where do you belong as an artist? Is it possible to be international, locally?
The programme consists of two keynotes, group conversations and other elements and is for all performing artists who work internationally or want to do so.
Yohann Floch (On the Move, Belgium/France) shares his views on international cultural mobility trends, based on the latest publications by On the Move, while highlighting the difficulties met by the artistic community and other cultural stakeholders to build responsiveness to global interdependencies and challenges, including social and societal ones.
Sepehr Sharifzadeh (creative producer and curator, Iran) gives a view on the international performance scene today, from a perspective outside the Danish and European field and talks of how to collaborate on a global level and the notion of equity.
