With Home Made Climate Conference GASTSTUBE° (CH/BE/DK) creates a performative forum to bring the climate crisis tangible. How to face this global challenge as an individual? How to foster collective and constructive outrage? How do we find the necessary pleasure to confront the problems?

The climate crisis is ultimately asking us to reinvent our lives, economies, and values. Is it possible to find any sense or even enjoyment in this? GASTSTUBE° develops artistic techniques for home use. Can we radically transform our relationships with things? What would that mean – political, poetic, down to earth? 

The collective of Beatrice Fleischlin, Nicolas Galeazzi, and Andreas Liebmann practiced experimental performance formats from 2001-2007, working with the unfinished as practice and the restless varying of the given. In 2019, they launched a new long-term collaboration. They explore fragile possibilities of existing in the ruins of capitalism and imagine practices for collective survival. GASTSTUBE° shares their research and experience through performances, workshops, and other sharings. Their projects are invitations for a shared design of other futures.
