Greetings from Mega Rich Company

This is a greeting to you, the viewers of the future, dear friends who are sitting there in front of the computer, good morning, or good evening, good afternoon, hello-hello. Are you sitting well?

We are writing to you from the past, specifically on February 21, 2023, and we have just finished MEGA RICH COMPANY’s big MONEY GIVE-AWAY SHOW (!)

2022 has been a tough year. 2023 will not be better. The high inflation will cause growth in Denmark coming to a standstill. A third of the world economy will go into recession, including half of the EU countries. With war in Europe, famine, natural disasters and the constant escalation of the climate crisis, it is difficult to see how the global markets will reach a stable level within the next few years. Ordinary Danes can no longer pay their bills, purchases, rent, mortgages. From here it only gets worse.

At MEGA RICH COMPANY, we look with great concern at the financial situation we – and may we allow ourselves to write – you find yourself in the middle of.

Therefore, at the turn of the year, we decided to donate 25,000 DKK to a small group of Danish citizens. To do it in the best democratic way possible, we put the tickets for, what we decided to call our MONEY GIVE-AWAY SHOW, on sale in the open expanses of the free market.

We left it to our guests to decide how the 25,000 DKK should be distributed between them, but with one condition which applies everywhere in a modern, democratic economy: the decision had to be made under effective time pressure.

Therefore, we gave those present 90 minutes and five rules:

  • NO ONE MAY RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT UNLESS THE AMOUNT IS 0 DKK.
  • ALL AMOUNTS MUST BE DIVISIBLE BY DKK 100.
  • ALL THE MONEY MUST BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THOSE PRESENT.
  • THE MONEY MAY NOT BE RECEIVED ON BEHALF OF OTHERS.
  • THE DISTRIBUTION IS VOTED BY A 2/3 MAJORITY.

Based on the evening’s events, we can conclude that the present representatives of the Danish population were willingly engaged in redistribution policy issues. Out of 30 guests, 20 benefited. The distribution was based on a principle of equality: that getting money to many was better than, for instance, a lot of money to a few. Thus, the participant who could not pay rent ended up leaving the evening 1200 DKK richer. And for 1200 DKK you may not be able to pay a house rent, but you can of course buy either a pair of new good shoes, 50 packets of butter or a new winter jacket. It is almost only the imagination that sets the limits.

In all modesty, we would describe the evening as a success and as a victory for the free market forces and continued minimal government interference.

A big congratulation to all of the evening’s winners and with the wish that your money is reinvested in the future of Denmark. We will need that.

You will hear from us again soon.
